Plague

It is an infectious disease that occurs due to entering the bacteria called 'Yersinia pestis'. These bacteria are found in the rat from which it is transmitted to the man through bite of fleas. When this disease is cured well after occurring once, there is no any possibility of occurring it again.

There are four types of plague:-

• Bubonic plague: - Symptoms of this type of plague occurs suddenly. The sufferer feels fever, shivering, headache, etc. The lymphatic glands are inflamed with pain. This disease can be also called 'Bubo'. Several types of boils and pimples appear on the skin in which pus is formed soon and the color of the skin is changed.
• Septicaemic plague: - It is a type of decomposing plague that makes the blood poisonous. Due to it, all the organs of our body become sick and start decomposing. In this case, blood pressure becomes low. Symptoms of Bubonic plague are also found in this type. He can be shocked too. Blood circulation is stopped in children suffering from this type of plague.
• Pneumonic plague: - In this type, symptoms of both bubonic and septicaemic plague are found with other symptoms like- cough, pain in the chest, obstruction (difficulty) in breathing, excessive weakness in the body and coming blood with cough. In this disease, the lungs are affected much.
• Intestinal plague: - Mostly, it attacks on the intestines and due to it, the sufferer feels pain in his back, in the lower section of the stomach and waist, stomach starts expanded.

If bubonic plague is not treated properly, it is converted into pneumonic plague.

Causes:-

After death of rat or by any means, when bacteria named 'Yersinia pestis' are transmitted on a person or bite a person, plague occurs in that person.

Symptoms:-

In the case of plague, the sufferer starts suffering from fever, violent thirst, swelling of the glands of the throat, armpit or thighs and pus is formed in them after maturing, excessive weakness comes in the body and feels lethargy, pain also persists in the entire body; after 4-5 days of appearing nodes on the body, they are matured and fever is eliminated; black marks are fallen on many place of the body, watery loose motion starts, nodes start decomposing after maturing. Mostly, the patient suffering from this disease is dead.

Treatment of plague on the basis of different symptoms:-

• In the initial stage of plague, taking Ignatia 3 is very useful to cure it.
• If fever has occurred during plague, use Belladonna for its treatment.
• In the case of plague, if fever has occurred with several types of other symptoms and the whole body has obsessed after becoming the blood poisonous, etc., Naja 3 or 6 can be used.
• If nodes have appeared in the case of plague, use Badiaga 1x to cure it and apply Badiaga 1x on the nodes due to which, nodes are decreases and disease is cured.
• In the case of pneumonic plague, if the lungs have obsessed, Phosphorus 6 or 30 should be used for its treatment.
• In the case of intestinal plague, if the intestines have obsessed, using Arsenic 6 or 30 is very beneficial for its treatment.
• In the case of collapse stage of plague, using Hydrocy-acid 6 is appropriate.
• In the case of plague, if symptoms of swelling have found in the patient, taking Apis 3 or 30 is very beneficial.
• If the patient of plague is suffering from lethargy, red eruptions of blood or spots are found on the skin, using Lachesis 6 or 30 is much benefited to cure this disease.
• If symptoms of stiffness or stretchiness are found in the body of a plague patient, using Cuprum-acet 6x (trituration) is very effective.
• If symptoms like- excessive lethargy, wounds, weakness and yellow eyes, etc. are found in the case of plague and the patient believes himself as injured, etc., Naja 3 or 6 should be used.

Treatment of plague with different drugs:-

1. Gelsemium-Gelsemium 1x or 200 is used in following symptoms like- mental lethargy, pain in the rear of the head, drowsiness, excessive tiredness and laziness in the body, shivering in the whole body and little pralap (crying, weeping or shouting), etc.
2. Pestinum- This drug is prepared with the trituration of the bacteria of plague. It should be used when plague is spreading. 30th potency of this drug should be used at an interval of every 4-4 hours to cure patient.
3. Sulphur-It is use as prophylactic to cure plague. Its 30 potency should be used to cure disease.
4. Belladonna:In the initial stage of plague, if delirium and severe fever have occurred and the patient is feeling dryness of the mouth, tongue and throat, etc., Belladonna 3x should be taken at an interval of every half an hour. In the first stage of plague, if severe fever has occurred with following symptoms like- pain in the head, redness of the eyes and mouth, red and swelled nodes and pralap (weeping, crying and shouting), etc., Belladonna 1x or 200 is very beneficial for its treatment.
5. Lachesis-If following symptoms are found during plague like- excessive weakness, unbearable of any type of touch, aggravation of symptoms after sleeping, pain in the entire body, becoming the whole body as blue and purple, lethargy, pralap (weeping, crying and shouting) and restlessness, etc., use Lachesis 30 or 200 to cure disease.
6. Naja:-Use Naja 3x, 6 to cure plague. It will provide benefit. In the case of plague, if following symptoms are found in the patient like- pain in the entire body, lethargy in the body like a drunk, difficulty while breathing, unconsciousness, becoming the whole body yellow, excessive weakness in the body, lack of blood in the veins, etc., Naja 3 as trituration should be used in this stage.
7. Arsenic- If the patient has following plague related symptoms like- restlessness, fast thirst, burning sensation, much fear about death, too much weakness and lethargy, difficulty in breathing and mental instability, etc., taking Arsenic 30 or 200 is very beneficial to cure such symptoms.
8. Phosphorus-If pneumonia has occurred with plague, Phosphorus 30 is very useful for its treatment.
9. Baptisia-Baptisia 3x or 200 is used for the treatment of plague when the patient has following symptoms like- coming offensive smell from stools and urine, watery loose motions, offensive smell from the mouth, unconsciousness, talking unnecessary and feeling the bed hard, etc.
10. Hydrocyanic acid-In the case of plague, if the patient is suffering from loss of vital power and stiffness in the body, foam starts coming out from the mouth and the lips have become blue, etc., use Hydrocyanic acid 3x or 6 at an interval of every half an hour for its treatment. It provides benefit.
11. Pyrogenium-In the case of plague, if the possibility of the patient's death is increased due to severe fever, taking Pyrogenium 30 or 200 is very beneficial.
12. Carbo-veg-In the last stage of plague, if the patient is suffering from cold sweating from the whole body, feeling difficulty in breathing, shrinking of the eyes and mouth inward, obstruction in breathing, hoarseness, etc., treatment of such symptoms with Carbo-veg 30 or 200 is appropriate.
13. Carbo-animalis-In the case of plague related symptoms like- pain, toughness and burning sensation in the nodes, violent pain in the head, the whole body becomes blue especially the nodes, etc., Carbo-animalis 30 or 200 should be used for its treatment. 
14. Echinacea-In the case of plague, if following symptoms like- lethargy in the entire body, unconsciousness, offensive smell coming from all types of secretion, pain and swelling of the nodes, watery loose motions and fever, etc. are found in the patient, Echinacea 6 or its mother tincture should be taken to cure this disease.
15. Ferrum-phos- If symptoms related to burning sensation are found in the case of plague, Ferrum-phos 3x as trituration should be used.
16. Kali-mur- Using Kali-mur 3x or 200 is appropriate when symptoms related to burning sensation are found in the case of plague.
17. Opium-If the patient suffering from plague has symptoms like- whirring sound inside the throat due to obstruction of phlegm, he has to take in deep breath and unconsciousness, excessive tiredness and weakness in the body, etc., using Opium 6 or 200 is very beneficial for its treatment.
18. Muriatic acid- The case of plague, if following symptoms are found in the patient like- too much weakness, cold sweating, too much lethargy in the body, shrinking of the eyes and mouth inward, unconsciousness, etc., Muriatic acid 30 or 200 can be used for its treatment.

Few other treatments with different drugs-

When the nodes of the body have matured, poultice should be tied on them and when these nodes are bursted, applying Calendula on wounds is very beneficial.
