Dyspnea

Due to misunderstanding (confusion), most of the people consider dyspnoea as asthma, but there is a little difference between dyspnoea and asthma. All the people know that asthma patient feels difficulty in breathing but if a person feels difficult breathing, it is not necessary that he is suffering from asthma. 

Cause:-

There can be 2 main reasons of difficult breathing in the patient:-

• Due to chronic catarrh of old aged persons occurring in the rainy season.
• Due to fast heart beats.

Treatment of this disease by following drugs:

1. Sulphur or Calcarea-carb:- If an old is suffering from dyspnoea in the rainy season or in foggy weather due to chronic catarrh of breathing tube, giving 30 potency of any one of Sulphur or Calcarea-carb is beneficial. 
2. Senega:- In dyspnoea, phlegm is filled in the chest of the patient; the patient feels difficulty in breathing, knocking sound is produced by the chest, etc. Thus, giving 3 or 6 potency of Senega drug is very useful. 
3. Apis:- If the chest of the patient has swollen due to water filled in it, difficult breathing, and patient feels difficulty in breathing, feels stops breath, he feels as if his last time has come. But according to a great doctor, these symptoms does not occur due to filling water inside the chest, it is due to mental disturbance, etc., giving Apis 6 provides much relief to the patient. 
4. Aspidasprma (quibraco) :- If mother tincture or 2x potency of Aspidasprma has given to the patient in dyspnoea, it helps to increase oxygen level in the blood and removes out Carbonic acid from the body resulting dyspnoea is cured. 
5. Arsenic:- Generally, Arsenic is used in the attack of asthma at mid-night, but giving this drug in heart diseases or in the condition of fast heart beats which causes dyspnoea provides relief to the patient. 
6. Digitalis:- The patient feels difficult breathing due to walking even for covering short distance in the condition of slow pulse rate, deep breathing, feels while sleep as if his nose is stopping inhale and he has to wake up for breathing. Thus, giving Digitalis 2 is benefited. 
7. Spongia:- Giving Spongia 3 or 3x is beneficial in the condition of dry cough, whooping cough, breathing haltingly, dyspnoea due to fast breathing, etc.
