If scrofula occurs in small children, pus starts to occur in his ear that begins to come out from the ear. Sometimes fluid like pus also starts to flow out from the ear after chicken pox or measles. If this disease persists for a long time, deafness or several types of other diseases can also occur.
Some other treatment:-
Higher potency of any drug should be never used for the treatment of otorrhoea, because sometime it can harm.
Mix clean and fresh water in two times of milk then washes the ear with this water and then the ear should be dried with blatting paper. After that, cotton should be put in the ear after dripping 1-2 drops of carbolic acid on it.
After grinding 5 grain Boric acid well and then should be put in the ear before going to bed.
Treatment of this disease with different drugs:-
1. Kali-mur- If fluid (secretion) is secreting from the middle of the ear, Kali-mur 3x or 12x or 3 can be used at an interval of every 1-1 hour.
2. Capsicum- If pus is flowing from the ear with bleeding occasionally, Capsicum 6 can be used for the treatment of it.
3. Merc-va- If offensive pus is flowing from the ear with bleeding especially after chicken pox and the glands around the ear have swollen, scratching pain is occurring in the obsessed part, using the powder of Merc-va 6x is very effective to cure such symptoms of the patient.
4. Puls- If dilute fluid like water is flowing from the ear without smell or if such symptoms appear after burning sensation in the ear or measles, using Puls 3 or 6 is beneficial to cure this disease. If otorrhoea is acute (new), 3 or 30 potency of this drug is very useful for the treatment of it.
5. Hydrastis- In the condition of secretion from the middle part of the ear, Hydrastis 1 should be used at an interval of every 8-8 hours. Mix 8 drops of its mother tincture in 14 ml of glycerin and drip few drops of this solution in the ear daily at night.
6. Kali-bi- If puls is failed for curing otorrhoea, Kali-bi should be used.
7. Arum-met- If additional pus is flowing from the ear with offensive smell, for the treatment of it, Arum-met 6 should be taken. If tympanic membrane and malleus have destroyed with the ear hole filled with pus, 30 potency of this drug should be taken.
8. Arnica- If pus is flowing from the ear with earache, using Arnica 3x is very effective to cure this disease. With the use of this drug, 1-2 drops of its oil should be also dripped in the ear.
9. Sulphur:- If fluid like pus is coming out from the ear in excess volume due to using mercury, Hepar-sulphur 6 is very useful for the treatment of it.
If otorrhoea is acute (new) and Puls is failed, it should be treated with this drug.
If otorrhoea has become chronic and well chosen drugs make no impression, taking Sulphur 30 is very useful.
If patient feels difficulty in hearing due to drying up pus, Sulphur 30 should be used for the treatment of it. Phosphorus can be also used for the same symptoms.
If otorrhoea has become chronic, 30 potency of this drug is very useful to cure it.
10. Calcarea-carb- If otorrhoea has become chronic, Calcarea-carb 3 or 30 can be used for the treatment of it. The people who are suffered from cold by exposure to even little cold, 30 or 200 potency of this drug is very useful.
11. Nitric-acid- If pain and swelling occur in the part behind and below the ear with the secretion of offensive pus, Nitric-acid 6 should be taken.
12. Silica- If diluted (watery) pus is secreting from the ear and swelling has occurred outside the ear, for the treatment of it, Silica 30 can be used. This drug is also very useful in the case of closed ear all the time. This drug should be also used in the cases of forming scabs inside the ear with coming out watery pus from the ear.
13. Psorinum- In the condition of flowing offensive pus from the ear, Psorinum 30 can be used for the treatment of it.
14. Tellurium- If troubles due to otorrhoea are chronic, using Tellurium 6 is very effective to cure this type of symptom.
15. Graphites- If sticky offensive pus with blood is secreting from the ear, using Graphites 6 is very effective.
16. Aconite- If otorrhoea is caused due to exposure to cold and if it is acute (new), taking Aconite 30 is beneficial for the treatment of such symptoms.
17. Belladonna- If headache is caused with otorrhoea, taking Belladonna 30 is beneficial for the treatment of it.
18. Calcarea- If otorrhoea has become chronic, for the treatment of it, using 30 potency of this drug is very effective.
19. Lycopodium- 30 potency of this drug can be used for the treatment of chronic otorrhoea.
20. Hepar-sulph- If pus is flowing (otorrhoea) with sour smell, 30 potency of this drug is very useful for the treatment of it. Wounds of the ear start to recover after the use of this drug and it is also useful in the case of forming hole in the ear drum.
21. Silicea- If otorrhoea has become chronic and well chosen drugs make no impression, Silicea 30 should be used to cure such symptoms.
22. Kali bicrome- If pus is thick (concentrated), sticky, yellow and like thread with offensive smell and violent pricking pain starts in the left ear, Kali-bicrome 3x or 30 should be used for the treatment of such symptoms.
23. Tellurium- Using Tellurium 6 is beneficial to cure chronic otorrhoea. If watery pus is secreting with offensive smell from the middle ear with burning sensation, this drug can be used to cure it.
24. Merc-sol- If pus is secreting from the ear, taking Merc-sol 6 at an interval of every 8-8 hours is beneficial to cure this disease.
25. Borax- If pus is secreting from the ear, 3 potency of this drug should be taken and grind 6 grain of Boric acid to make it as fine powder and then put in the ear before going to bed or grind an equal quantity of Boric acid, Plantago and sugar of milk then put in the ear after drying up. It will provide benefit.
