When tumors appear in the membrane inside the nose due to any reason, it is called 'Nasal Polypus'. Tumors have swollen like a lump of mucus membrane. Tumors are smooth, soft, bluish white and changeable its place. Sometimes, pus is formed in these tumors, due to which patient is much troubled especially in breathing. Mostly, this disease occurs due to allergy, sinus and esprine etc.
Symptoms:-
The nose is blocked due to nasal polypus. Due to this disease, when the patient talks, seems as if he is talking with the nose. In this disease, patient breathes through the mouth due to having troubles in breathing through the nose. His mouth goes on opening and he feels trouble in swallowing thin things. In this disease, nostril in which tumors appears, the outer skin of that place is enlarged. He is not able to smell of anything due to tumors inside the nose. He feels headache and pain and heaviness near the nose.
Treatment by different drugs:-
1. Thuja-
Thuja 30 should be taken for curing tumors and the mother tincture of Thuja should be applied in the nose.
2. Formica Rufa-
In the case of appearing tumors in the membrane of the nose, 1x of this drug should be taken. It is beneficial.
3. Phosphorus-
If tumors have appeared in the nose and blood comes out from it, Phosphorus 3 should be taken. It helps to stop bleeding and tumors are also cured.
4. Psorium and Teucrium-
If nasal polypus becomes chronic, taking Psorium 30 is very effective. In this disease, the mother tincture of Teucrium also provides relief.
5. Sanguinaria:-
Taking 1x of this drug and applying powder of this drug is beneficial for nasal polypus.
In this disease, Calca-carb, Kali-bi, Merc-Iod and Opium can be also used.
Few other treatments with the use of different drugs:-
- If the patient, suffering from this disease, having allergy with anything, he should avoid that allergic things.
- Take liquid materials in enough quantity.
- To eliminate swelling inside the nose, take vapour from the nose and practice breathing exercise daily.
Precaution:-
Do not try to bring out nasal polypus by himself. Do not take alcohol and other intoxicating materials in this disease and treat this disease immediately according to the advice of a doctor.
