Urine is also suppressed due to affect of paralysis in the urinary bladder caused by exposure to cold, due to which, other types of symptoms occur too.
Drugs used in the case of paralysis of the urinary bladder:-
1. Opium- Urine comes after a long time while urination with short flow. Patient feels heaviness all the time due to urine and urination by itself due to any type of fear. Thus, Opium 3, 30 or 200 should be used in such symptoms.
2. Cantharis- The patient feels spasm and burning sensation while urination. Urine comes out drop-by-drop. In such symptoms, he should use Cantharis 6 or 30.
3. Secale cor- In the case of paralysis, the urinary bladder is stopped working (functioning). In this situation, patient has to apply force (effort) for urination, however urine comes haltingly. Thus, Secale cor 30 should be used in such symptoms. This drug is also very useful in old age when urine is come unknowingly.
4. Belladonna- Sometimes urine is suppressed without any reason or comes by itself. Thus, using Belladonna 30 is beneficial in such symptoms.
5. Aconite- If urine has suppressed due to exposure to cold, Aconite should be given. Dulkamara is also used in such symptoms.
