Care of eyes

Eyes are a type of camera which sees the things/objects in the surroundings and give signal about them to the brain, by which a type of image is printed in the brain and the human identify those things or objects. The eyes are precious for us, so we should care them properly. Several types of eyes diseases can occur if we did not care the eyes properly. Thus, it is so necessary to care the eyes to protect them from various diseases. 

What should we do or not for caring the eyes:- 

  • We should not do such work, by which the eyes get tired, so do not harass the eyes. 
  • It is necessary to give rest to our eyes after a certain gap of time while reading or working on the computer. We should not work on computer for more than 2-3 hours. 
  • If dust or dirty particles have entered into the eyes, blink the eyes up and down for a while to remove them and splash water on the eyes resulting dust and dirt will remove out. 
  • Blink the eyes up and down for few hours daily, by this activity moisture persists in the eyeballs.
  • Cry bitterly is very useful for the eyes, the brain and the lungs.
  • Do not touch the eyes with the dirty fingers.
  • Wash your eyes with clean cold water daily before going to bed at night.
  • Appropriate exercise should be taken to maintain the strength of the eyes muscles.
  • Natural light is good for the eyes compared to the light of T.V, computer and bulb. So, we should not sit in front of these lights.
  • Light should be come from the left side while reading or writing.
  • Goggles should be used while working in the dusty or smoky environment or driving in the sunlight.
  • There should be appropriate light in the room while watching T.V at night. 

Diet (food) for protecting the eyes from diseases:- 

  • For protecting the eyes, nutritive diet should be taken like- carrot, green leafy vegetables and salad, etc. 
  • If the eyes are feeling tiredness, cut a thin slice of fresh cucumber and put on the eyes. The eyes are precious so all possibility should be tried for its protection.
