Deafness

 Well, there is no any treatment for a person who is suffering from deafness from birth, but if deafness is caused by any other reason, it can be treated. 

There are three types of deafness:-

1. Deafness generated by several types of diseases.
2. Deafness from birth.
3. Deafness generated due to neural malfunctioning or physical weakness. 

Causes of deafness:- 

There can be several reasons for deafness or lack of hearing power- stopping the ear due to loud sound, injury of the forehead and thickening of dirt in the ear. This disease can also occur due to several other reasons like- forming pus in the ears or any type of disease in the ear, etc. It can also occur due to taking additional quinine. Due to these symptoms, a person can become deaf or starts to hear high. 

Treatment of deafness with homoeopathic drugs according to the different types of symptoms:- 

Deafness due to physical weakness:-

• If deafness has occurred due to physical weakness, for the treatment of it, Phos 3 is very useful.
• If deafness has occurred due to physical weakness with neuralgic symptoms, the powder of Chini-sulph 3x should be used to cure this disease.
• If deafness has occurred due to physical weakness with fast palpitation of the heart, for the treatment of it, Petrol 3x or Ars 3 can be used.

Deafness occurred due to exposure to cold:-

• If this disease has occurred due to exposure to cold and it is acute, for the treatment of it, using Puls 3 is beneficial.
• If this disease has occurred due to exposure to cold and it becomes chronic, the powder of Kali-hydro 3x or Merc-bi 6x should be taken.
• If deafness has occurred due to exposure to moist air of rainy season, Dulkamara 6 is used to cure this disease.
• For the treatment of deafness occurring due to exposure to cold dry air, Acon 2x should be used.
• If deafness has occurred due to exposure to cold and patient hears less while talking with others, Bryo can be used for the treatment of it. 

Deafness occurred due to fever:-

• If a person is suffering from vertigo with deafness generated by fever, taking Bell 3 is beneficial to cure this disease. 
• If deafness has occurred due to fever coming after bleeding from the body, using China 3x or Acid-phos is very effective to cure this disease. Puls 6 or Sulph 30 can be also used to cure this type of deafness. 

Deafness occurred due to suppression of any skin disease or pus of the ear:- 

For the treatment of such symptoms, Sulphur 30, Hepar-sulphur 6 or Arum 3x or 200 should be used. 

Deafness occurred due to burning sensation of the palat or swelling of the upchinha:- 

• For the treatment of deafness occurring due to such symptoms, Merc-cor 6, Merc-bin-iod 6x, Kali-hydro 3x or the powder of its 30 potency or Baryta-carb 6 should be used. 
• If deafness occurred due to such symptoms with sough sensation, Arnica 3x can be used. 

Hearing strange voices in the ears:-

• For the treatment of deafness occurring due to this type of symptom with lack of hearing power, Nux-vom 3 should be taken.
• If the hearing power is strong with this type of symptom, using Natrum-salisilicum 3 or Ignatia 6 is very effective.
• If a person feels slight (milk) pain in the left ear glands with deafness, Baptisia 2x should be taken.

Treatment of this disease by different drugs:- 

• Merc-sor- If deafness has occurred due to blocking the tube that spreads from the mouth (much-ganhar) to the ear or due to swelling of this tube, Merc-sol 3 should be taken at an interval of every 6-6 hours to cure this disease. 
• Hydrastis- If Kali-mur or Dulcis makes no impression, Hydrastis should be taken at an interval of every 3-3 hours. If Hydrastis is also failed, Mezereum 1 should be used at an interval of every 3-3 hours. 
• Kali-mur- In the case of deafness, Kali-mur 6x should be used at an interval of every 3-3 hours. It helps to open the ear closing due to any reason. Merc-Dulcis can be also used in the condition of such symptoms. 
• Calcarea carb- This drug is used to remove infantile deafness. 1 dosage of this drug should be used at an interval of every 8-8 hours. 
• Graphites- If the patient suffering from this disease is able to hear well in noisy places and is not able to hear properly in these places, Graphites 3 should be used at an interval of every 8-8 hours. 
• Magnesia- Magnesia 200 is very useful to cure deafness of old or middle aged person. 
• Pulsatilla- To remove deafness occurring due to measles or cold, taking Pulsatilla 30 is beneficial. 
• Carbo-veg- 30 potency of this drug should be taken to cure deafness occurring due to dryness of the ear or lack of wax in the ear. 
• Phosphorus- Deafness occurring due to weakness or scrofula in the body in which the patient hears different types of sound and is not able to understand (hears) others voices; always hears the same voice. Thus, Phosphorus 30 can be used to cure such symptoms of the patient. 
• Acid-phos- If deafness has occurred due to weakness of the body by additional emission, taking Acid-phos 6 is very useful. 
• Chininum-sulph- Due to accumulation of blood (congestion), if the patient feels headache, hearing the same kind of voices with the symptoms of deafness, for the treatment of it, the powder of Chininum-sulph 3 should be used. 
• Mezereum- If Hydrastis makes no impression in deafness, Mezereum 1 should be tried at an interval of every 3-3 hours. 
• Elaps- If pus secrets from the ear with chronic deafness, Elaps 3 is used for the treatment of it. 

Other treatment:- 

• In the first stage of deafness, drip about 4 drops of Mulen oil in the ear two times a day or put cotton in the ear after immersing it in this oil. 
• The ears should be protected from water while taking bathe. 
• We should never slap on the ear of the children because this disease can occur due to getting hurt on the ear. 
• If additional dirt has thickened in the ear, it should be removed by cleaning, but carefully.
