INTRODUCTION
- It is a deep-acting cardio-neuro remedy, often indicated in chronic heart diseases.
- One of the best remedies in valvular lesions and angina pectoris.

GUIDING SYMPTOMS
- Marked cardiac weakness, sensation as if heart is held tightly, or grasped by iron hand.
- "Feels heart will stop beating unless constantly on move."
- Palpitation, breathlessness < lying on left side (opposite to Spongia).
- Pain in heart extending to nape of neck, left shoulder, and arm (Angina region).
- Violent headache > open air.
- Speech is affected, can’t articulate well due to paralysis of tongue or throat (post-diphtheritic paralysis).
- Sensation of thread hanging in throat; choking feeling.
