Facial Pain

Mostly, neuralgic pain of the face occurs in one side of the face which is called ‘Facial Pain’. 

Cause:-

Sinusitis, neuralgic pain of kapal tantrika (nerves of the forehead), headache, appearing boils in the gums, etc. are the reasons of this disease. Swelling occurs in the arteries due to viral infection in the nerves that causes herpes zoster and facial pain starts. 

Symptoms:-

Pain starts on the face as if someone is inserting knife. The glow of the face disappears. Pain starts in the nerves of the face that aggravates by little touch. In the case of herpes zoster, violent pain like electric shock occurs. Occurring throbbing pain in the nose with swelling is the reason of sinusitis that is moved on the entire face. 

Important tips:-


  • In the condition of neuralgic pain of the face, take treatment by doctors. Do not treat by yourself.
  • In the case of sinusitis, keeping warm bandage provides relief.
  • Fomentation on the affected part provides relief in boils and headache with much swelling.
  • In this disease, patient should take vitamin-B complex and vitamin-E in his diet. It helps to re-build of the nerves. If the patient does not get relief in pain, treat according to the advice of a doctor.
