GASTRIC DERANGEMENTS

Several kinds of disease take birth in the body. Such diseases are as constipation, loose motions, swelling in the big and small intestines, wind, convulsions, swelling, wound, dropsy, appendicitis indigestion, intestinal worms, flatulence, etc.

Treatment of gastric derangements (stomach diseases) with different drugs according to various symptoms:-

1. Nux-vomica:-

• If a person do excessive mental works but does not do even little physical work, take meat and wine (alcohol) and he is living irregular life, awakes at night also and due to which, he has suffered from stomach upset ness, give lower potency of Nux-vomica to him for curing his symptoms. It will provide benefits. If such patient has constipation too, use higher potency of this drug.
• If the patient has suffered from upset ness of the stomach and following symptoms are found in him like- irritable temperament, fast and hot temperament, lethargy in the body in the evening, drowsiness, feeling laziness after getting up in the morning, vexed all the time, milk pain in the head, feeling heavy head, etc. When such patient takes his meals, he does not feel troubles at that time but after half an hour and an hour he starts feeling pain in the stomach, etc., using Nux-vomica is appropriate. 
• The patient does feel hunger, but sometimes feels also abnormal hunger; this type of abnormal hunger is the sing of indigestion. This type of hunger starts before 24 to 36 hours. Thus, using Nux-vomica is appropriate for the treatment of such symptoms.
• If the gastric patient says that he will feel better if he vomits; start feeling unwell just after eating food and troubles are also start aggravating; he vomits after 3-4 hours of eating food, etc., using Nux-vomica is appropriate to cure such symptoms.
• If pain of the stomach starts below the chest and then is moved here and there that is aggravated in the morning and irritability starts in the intestines, etc., Nux-vomica should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient.

2. Carbo-veg:-

• If a person has stomach disease and has following symptoms too like- fever due to decomposition of food inside the stomach, sour and fetid belches, gastric, constipation, burning sensation in the stomach, feeling some relief after belches, filling gas inside the stomach after eating ice-cream, cabbage, coffee, ghee, fat and milk, etc., Carbo-veg 3x, 30 or 200 should be used.
• The patient has suffered from stomach upset ness and burning sensation in the stomach, constipation, belches, feeling some relief after coming belches, start feeling suffocation due to filling gas inside the stomach, troubles are aggravated in the evening; if such types of symptoms occur in an old, their vital power is decreased that causes fetid belches, using Carbo-veg is very beneficial.
• If a person has suffered from stomach upset ness and has following symptoms like- over weakness, ending of vital power, he wants air, etc., taking Carbo-veg is very useful for its treatment.

3. China:-

• The patient feels too weakness in his body due to loss of any vital element like- sperm, loose motions, blood and water, etc, stomach goes on expanding, he starts feeling as if his stomach has filled after eating only 1-2 morsels, but such patient does not feel hunger, air is filled in his stomach, he feels some relief when air comes out from his anus or after belches, but troubles start again. Sour and bitter belches come, fetid air comes out from his anus; he feels as if eaten food persist in the stomach; sometimes this type of symptoms are found in the patient after taking tea. If above symptoms are found in the patient and he is suffering from yellow loose motions that are aggravated at night and after eating, China 30 is very beneficial for him.
• If the patient's stomach is upset with occurring following symptoms like- indigestion, food remains in the stomach for a long time, belches go on coming and in the last, food comes out with vomiting, etc., using China is very beneficial to cure such patient.

4. Lycopodium:-

• The patient feels violent hunger and when he starts eating, eats slowly as small morsels, his stomach starts expanding due to which, he is not able to eat completely, he stops after leaving food. Thus, taking Lycopodium 30 is very beneficial to cure such symptoms of the patient.
• If the patient is suffering from chronic diseases of the stomach, any diseases with liver disease or gout and feels many troubles, etc., using Lycopodium is appropriate to cure such symptoms.

5. Pulsatilla:-

• If following symptoms are found in the patient of stomach disease like- bad taste of the mouth, feels after getting up in the morning as if food has persisted in the chest, lack of thirst due to eating fatty food, meat or ghee, butter; feels nauseate, filth on the tongue, coating white or yellow filth on the tongue, symptoms start aggravating after taking cold water, ice-cream, etc., Pulsatilla 30 should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient.
• If following symptoms are found in the patient of stomach disease like- lack of thirst, heaviness occur after 1 or 2 hours of eating, getting some relief after eating little, air moves here and there inside the stomach that causes pain in the chest, gets some relief after belches or coming out of air, feels cold, does not like heat, troubles are aggravated by heat, heart beat starts after eating; on the basis of such symptoms, it is difficult to find out that heart disease has occurred or not; the patient remains hopeless and loose hearted at the same time, he soft nature and tolerant (enduring), troubles are aggravated in the evening, feels burning sensation in the food pipe, heavy stomach after eating heavy diet, feels taste of eaten food even after eating, etc., using Pulsatilla is appropriate to cure such symptoms.

6. Anacardium-

• The feels his stomach as shrinking inwards after 2 hours of eating food; mild pain starts in the stomach that is felt even to the spinal cord; to remove such type of shrinking sensation, he eats that give relief to him; after few hours of it, he again starts feeling same symptoms, due to which, he has to eat again; violent pain occurs in the stomach at night with desires for excretion; when the sufferer sits for excretion, he feels as if dot has kept on the anus, etc. Thus, if above symptoms are found in the patient, Anacardium 6, 30 or 200 should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient.

7. Sepia:-

• Mostly, this drug is used to cure stomach diseases of the women. If any type of stomach related disease has occurred in a woman and she has following symptoms like- hot temperament, starts crying even on little topics, remain sad, feels boring about house hold works, hot hands while cold legs, marks like saddle appearing on the nose to both the cheeks, feeling emptiness inside the stomach, does not get relief by eating, starts feeling nauseate just after looking at food or by food smell, sharp pain in the liver but in the left side of it, feels relief from this pain after lying down on the stomach, desires for eating pickles and sour things, etc. Thus, if above symptoms are found in a patient, Sepia 12, 30 or 200 should be used to cure such patient.

8. Sulphur:-

• Taking sulphur 30 or 200 is very useful in the cases like- feeling hungry at 11 am, feeling shrinking stomach inwards, hotness, hot head and cold legs, loose motions just after getting up in the morning, sleepiness like a dog, lack of desire for taking bath, drinking additional water, eating less food, etc.
• This drug is also very useful in different symptoms like- violent hunger, is not able to wait for food, eating after getting up at night, expansion of stomach (flatulence) after eating, lack of hunger occasionally, etc.
• If stomach diseases have occurred in those who take liquor additionally, giving Sulphur to him is very beneficial to cure his diseases.

9. Phosphorus:-

• The patient likes cold eatables and cold beverages that give some relief to him, but as soon as these eatables become hot inside the stomach, vomiting takes place. Thus, to cure such symptoms, Phosphorus 3 to 30 should be used. 
• Taking this drug is also very effective in following symptoms like- emptiness in the stomach after 11 am, weakness is also felt, emptiness in the intestines, violent hunger, he is not able to sleep until he eats food, and this type of patient feels burning sensation in between both his scapulas, sometimes he vomits just after entering food inside his stomach, etc. 
• If the patient is suffering from stomach cancer, tough nodes in the stomach or burning sensation and feels scratching sensation inside his stomach, etc., Phosphorus should be used to cure his disease.
• If the patient of stomach disease is suffering from lack of flesh, lack of blood in his body, Phosphorus 3 should be used to cure his disease.

10. Natrum-carb-

• If following symptoms are found in such patient, Natrum-carb 6 should be used like- excessive brooding, sadness, feeling nauseate in the morning, vomiting, lack of interest in doing any work, sour and smelly belches, weakness of the stomach, acidity in the stomach, feeling hungry at 11 am, shrinking the stomach inwards, unhappy after eating food, is not able to drink milk, stomach becomes sick even by little carelessness about diet, any complaint by drinking cold water in the condition of hot body, etc.

11. Kali-carb:-

• If the patient is cold natured and is suffering from forming gas inside his stomach due to eating anything with having other symptoms like- he becomes loose hearted due to any chronic disease (long disease) or lack of vital element in the body, etc., using Kali-carb 30 or 200 is very beneficial.
• If symptoms of disease are increased much, patient feels weakness, lack of blood in his body, tiredness after doing even little work, remains tired all the time, pain in the waist and complaints of constipation, etc., Kali-carb is very useful for its treatment.
• This drug is also very useful in symptoms like- shrinking of the stomach inward before eating, feels much weakness in the stomach compared to hunger.

12. Graphities-

• If the patient is fat, having loose muscles and is cold natured, boils and pimples on the skin with other symptoms like- pain in the stomach, getting some relief after eating; he is not able to eat sweets, feels nauseate from it, hot water is also unfavorable for him, hates meat, etc., taking Graphites for 12 days is beneficial. Graphites 6 or 30 can be also used to cure such patient.

13. Arsenic:-

• If the patient feels too weakness in the body and stomach diseases has occurred with following symptoms like- pain in the stomach, irritation in the stomach, unable to digest anything, lack of hunger, swelling in the stomach, etc., using Arsenic 3, 30 or 200 is very effective.
• Arsenic should be also used in different symptoms like- pain in the stomach, loose motions, pain with burning sensation, nauseate, vomiting, irritation persists in all the way of intestines, clean tongue, appears as red, food poisoning by taking stale or decomposed food, etc. 
• If the patient feels pain just after eating, feels as if food persist inside the stomach like stone with other symptoms like- fast pain, cutting pain, pain is moved to the shoulders and back, dry mouth, constipation, pain on the forehead and he is bilious natured, etc., using Arsenic is very beneficial to cure his disease.

14. Hydrastis-

• With stomach disease, if following symptoms are found like- swelling in the stomach, loss of hunger, sour water of the stomach comes in the mouth through food pipe, middle section of the tongue is yellow and its edges are clean, feel lethargy, feels unhappy, constipation, etc., Hydrastis 30 is used to cure his troubles.

15. Ignatia:-

• If the patient feels hunger and at the same time vomiting is coming, Igantia 200 should be used for its treatment.
• When an epilepsy patient has suffered from stomach disease and following symptoms are found like- pain in the stomach at night, filling gas inside the stomach, etc., using Ignatia 200 is very beneficial for curing such patient.
